i would need a 90 transfer case to install a 90 tranny in a 94.* correct?
is there any problems or other parts that i need to complete the install?
Yes, all you'd need to make it work is a 22 spline xfer casebut I'd try to stay away from 90 trannys period if you plan on upgrading that one to a race tranny ever. I'd try to find a 91-94/23 spline and get a 90 as a last resort. I believe it's something to do with some intermediate shaft inside, but I'm not an expert, as it's like another coupla hundred of dollars to get that upgraded when building it. Having the cables would make things shift nicer also. I had a 22 spline tranny in my car w/ the 91 cables and it didnt shift too great (some grinding) no matter how I adjusted it; and it was a decent tranny in the car I got it from.

just my .02

Trannys suck, just build ONE good one if you can.
I've finally learned that after .... 6 "good" used trannys... :razz2: [/b][/quote]
lol, this is true, many a dsmer has had 'good' tranies multiple times.
