Re: 1/2 filled block Vs refresh?
I have a "built" 6 bolt block already in the car. Almost identical to my last cars motor. I have never had a motor gone through however and don't see a cost price for refreshing. (In my head I imagine it's something like, headgasket, new ARP studs, new bearings, valve stem seals, gaskets through out, plus what ever machine work etc)
Or do I just say screw it and hope for the best and just replace the head gasket? I just figure if I'm going in anyways might as well do some work whIle the motors being worked on.
