But does the ECU use those numbers in it's calculations for Fuel, etc?

Just wondering cause my under the hood temps are rediculous.

I'm temped just to take my damn hood off. (j/k) but at least it's good for those late night outings when things are cold. You just have to pop the hood to get warm.
