Yes for closed loop operation there is the SD VE Adjust tool. It will recommend adjustments to the VE table based on fuel trims, but there is also the MAFComp Adjust tool that uses fuel trims to calculate adjustments for the MAFComp sliders if using a MAF. With both tools it is very important to have proper global fuel settings first.

But thats just the beginning, WOT is where you spend your time tuning. To tune safely and still make power it helps having a good understanding of what A/F ratio and ignition timing should be corresponding to load and RPM and the effect ignition timing has on A/F ratio. So making adjustments to your timing table effects the A/F ratio and would likely require airflow adjustment to keep things where you want them and so on. It goes much more in depth than this. So yeah I guess its not "easy" but once you start playing around with it you'll gain more understanding of the whole thing.
