I am pretty sure there is a box you can check that disables the countdown on the tranny, is there not? Been a few months since I looked at it much so I am a little fuzzy.

Peter - unfortunately they seem to be pretty picky about mods. I guess they will mark in the system that you have mods but not say anything to your face, then when something goes wrong you are SOL. I am not very happy with BMW as a company, but they make a hell of a car.
