Usually manual transmissions are stronger becuase they are designed to take more abuse. I test drove a 96 GSX with my friend (who owns an SRT4) and let me tell you having an automatic turbo car is very different. When your used to feeling that shift into second and it just goes without you doing it its almost disorienting. If its your first dsm/ turbo car you wont really notice the difference. The one thing automatics are very useful for bracket racing as you will run very consistent runs. Later on as you get towards those 13 sec timeslips you may want to get an MSD or other brand ignition box with the dual rev limiters for launching at the track. Anyways I hope my rambling help out a little. :goodluck: :dsmrule:
