Yep, I have my license and had the chance, $$ to renew it this year too! You need to be a member of NHRA, its $69.00/year. Then the license is $100 every 2 years. So for payment at the time that you want to get your license is a minimum of 169.00.

You also need your chassis cert too, if I remember correctly was around 175.00 for an appointment inspection. In the beginning of the race season Jim Bongard (952) 544-4151 from our local NHRA district is at local tracks like BIR and rockfalls, it is cheaper to go when he is there.
As for the passes they just want to make sure you’re in control of the car, they don’t even really watch you for us slow guys, but imagine licensing for top fuel. The rules are the same.
