I tried the Amsoil gear oil many years back, it was much notchier than other fluids. However, the condition of the tranny wasn't great, so that likely had something to do with it.

Regarding their oil, I've personally taken apart many motors, the cleanest most non-worn motors and bearings I've seen have all run Amsoil. Drastically different than all other motors I've taken apart.
