I wouldnt bother with the attorney, but fight it all the way. Then If the judge actually lets this go through to an actual court proceeding, you will be able to put the officer on the stand and get his comments and findings on record, as well as put your wife on the stand, (remember she is under oath, so ask everything you ever wanted to know, hahaha)
