there are systems designed to get you verbally fluent by audio tape in a week. i'll look around for the name of them, there are 2 famous ones. they are the systems used by military and other government agencies when an operative needs to get up and running in a foreign language in as little time as possible. do some google searching and i'm sure you'll come across them
