The Workhorse

It's nothing real special, but it's gonna get the job done. I picked this up today from a coworker for $1900. It's a '96 Silverado 1/2 ton Z71. It's got a new transmission and rear end and the motor doesn't leak or burn a drop.

I bought it for towing the 1G to the track to have a way to get it back to my place if it were ever to break down. The only thing I have to immediately address is replacing the low pressure power steering hose which I got from O'reilly's for $12. It's the perfect workhorse truck I've been looking for.

It needs a muffler or a glasspack because it's beyond redneck loud and an alignment. But I'm not planning on dumping a bunch of money in to it. Just keep it nice and reliable. I've wanted a truck since I was a kid and I'm pretty stoked I have one now. All that's left to get is a trailer (Which I'm working on getting)
