Re: Looking to get a water softener, any advice/tips?

Well, I went through all the settings multiple times, and after a day or two, the water would get hard again. It was so bad that we had to replace our dishwasher when it was three years old. Granted we figured out that the plumber had hooked it up wrong and it was attached to the cold water line, which isn't treated. Even then, it just hasn't worked that well, and I'm tired of replacing the salt all the time. Easywater is not cheap, but I can't find anything bad about it, and you don't have to replace the salt. I can also change my outside faucets to be treated then as well, so I can wash my car without spots. All in all, it should work for most people, it just didn't work very well in ours.
