I do have the solid bushing from MAP, just didn't get them in yet.

And I really have no clue if the linkage is my source of problems. I mean my Uncle told me that one day it just started messing up in first gear. Thats when he started using 2nd to take off, and then the clutch started slipping. So he just parked it. I mean it is the original trans so it could need a rebuild. It does have 120,000 miles on it. And even though he just babied it back and forth to work, it could still be bad.
