I dunno.. but this is just me. People who "mod" their cars, usually mod them according to their style/personality whether it be the way they dress or whatever else they spend their money on. Usually if you see this really nicely modd'd and unique car on the outside and inside, you assume the guy/girl dresses very clean cut and nice and has their own classy nice style. If you see a half ass done car and it is beat to shit; I'd expect to see a "thug" drivin that car like he was a pimp and have a "try to be like everyone else so I can be cool" personality. I don't really know where I was going with this but I think you guys/girls all know what I'm talking about, I hope...
I think that was off topic, and I don't know where that came from but anyhow, if a car is beat to shit on the outside and inside and is fast...sure it's a sleeper, but it will probably fall apart soon or will blow up. If you're gonna do something, at least get it to the point where it can be somethign you can enjoy and not have to worry about... wait I guess we all own dsms, shouldn't say that... but if it's all "show" as some consider their cars, and no go, I do not have respect for it still because maybe I'm just one to expect more from something, but if it's a "show" car, it better be pretty damn extreme to considered a show car and that costs money and money = work and work = dedication and dedication = you. None of this typical off the shelf-shit that enhances your tailights or exterior look/bodykits. Custom = show car. If it's a show AND go car... you better have the REAL mods to back it up and a kickass exterior/engine bay w/ a million -an fittings and bling galore whether it be polish or anodizing, or something clean and nice. Again, I lost my train of thought, but I willl keep editing when I remember what I was talking about. So far, the only real show and go cars I've seen are typically MKIV Supras.
