Big cams make the car only as streetable as you want it to be. If the rest of your car isn't a pile cheap parts and it's tuned well then it will be okay. Low RPM driving is tricky so you usually just have to be one gear lower than you normally would, keep the RPMs up and it won't buck.
I know Shane has some experience with BC cams so hopefully he can chime in. If it were me I would spend a little more on something else.
