Re: 95 Tsi Awd PPPPPProject

I have been slacking on fixing this thing due too lack of funds with christmas and the ol' ladys B-Day, but some of the stuff that was ordered showed up so with out further a dew heres a couple pics of the new stuff that has arrived.

XTD stage 4 UNSPRUNG 6 puck clutch kit ( pressure plate not pictured ) Just ordered it because there seems to be good reviews about it amongst alot of 3/s ers and DSMERs as well. Figured for the price it was worth a try.

I know most say unsprung is not for daily driving but i had the XTD stage 3 6 puck sprung clutch in my old civic, and even with that torqueless wonder it drove like a stock clutch and held the 250 FWHP no problem.
So hopefully this thing isnt too bad being that i dont deal with any stop n go traffic or do much city driving.

My front motor mount was sagging pretty bad like most 2g's, and being that I'm a welder I took the cheap way out, its not pretty due since there wasn't alot of time spent on it. I had though about getting another set of stock mounts and doing this with polished stainless just for shits n giggles.

I was going to do the rear one but I haven't a Clue how bad It would be vibration wise and annoying wise for a daily driver? If any one has any input on this it'd be greatly appreciated, so I can weld up the rear one if its not gunna be too bad before the trans goes back in.

And last but not least I was planning on Fabbing my own 3" Exhaust at the time I was going apeshit ordering stuff so I ended up purchasing this EBAY 3" inlet Carbon Fiber canister muffler, it says its real carbon fiber wrapped and it appears to be the quality appears to be alright, although on the one my buddy ordered the whole perforated inner portion basically fell out within 5000 miles.

Just figured if I do end up fabbing my exhaust it'll Hopefully Look alright and sound decent I was thinking of running a glass pack/resonator to mellow out the sound due to the mufflers lack of length.
