I do like the message in that article.
Not to go on a tangent, but something I think about is the video you spoke of. It's sad to see that. It'd be equally sad to hear that if those were actual enemies, and they shot down the helicopter and killed our troops simply because they couldn't fire because of some rule of engagement. It's a tricky line, sucks for both sides

And also, the massive amount of cameras, and video cameras, in my opinion now simply shed light and let the everyday person see what happens. Not that it is anything new, but the fact that everyone and their mom have video cameras on their cell phones makes it so people actually see what happens, where-as before similar things more than likely took place but the old Polaroid wasn't quick enough back then to capture it for everyone to see.
