Well, it looks like my powdercoating plans will have to be delayed for a week or 2. I'll be helping Kracka install his MAP FMIC this weekend. I was originally wanting to garage my car (which for me means putting it in the backyard, lol) this weekend and start ripping out the IC piping and the intake so I could set up an appointment with the local powdercoater the following Saturday. However, due to Kracka's accelerated modding plan, I'll have to put that on hold for a week or so (which is fine by me...more driving around with the fresh tune
).
I finally decided that I'm going to do a metallic/glossy/pearlescent blue (basically, whatever color matches the car's paint more closely). I'm going to see if the guy can color match my oil cap so that everything will match pretty closely.
I went ahead and painted the red part of the engine cover a glossy black and I think the engine bay looks MUCH better that way. The blue piping will really pop now.
