I find it ironic that some of you are whining that we're fighting for oil. Regardless if that is the true motive or not, isn't this a car board? I would think all of you in particular would want your share.

First off, I support Bush and his efforts to the fullest extent. Though I am not excited about getting drafted or losing family members to war, I believe that both standing by your country's leader and fighting for your nation are important.
Something Tom and others may not comprehend is that everything we see on TV, read in the newspaper, and view online is being produced by THE PRESS or opinionated individuals. And though we all want to be up-to-date on the news, it's simply not going to happen. I am positive there is plenty of information the government doesn't let the general public know. For instance what Lightning started this topic for... we are finally learning the cause for the effect. The press is very good at construing information to make it "appealing", or misinforming the public with political gossip. They're in it for money, and though I try to keep up on the news, when it comes to this stuff I take it with a grain of salt.

Go ahead and point the finger at Bush for "starting a war", but when it comes down to it, I recall a couple of planes crashing into a building as the beginning of it all. The fact is, Bush knows that inside info the press can't dig up. You may not agree with his efforts, but maybe there comes a time when citizens need to use something called "faith". I guarantee you the president has a better idea of what's best to do than all of us. Support our government--if you're not a part of the solution, you're part of the problem.
