Back when I was using trailers, I typically thought a good deal on a wood top trailer was about $1000, a metal top, about $1300 and a tilt bed metal top, about $1500. In good shape of course. Trailers are nice, they don't depreciate at all if you buy them used. I never lost money on a trailer.
