Here is what he sent me:
I spoke with the foreman and we could build one, we would just need the flange. We actually build a 4.0" intake pipe for our turbo kits and haven't had a problem with airflow on the stock MAF. You can check the evolution x dyno section. We run speed density on our car, so it's not a good example since it doesn't use a MAF.
The foreman is actually looking at building a custom MAF adapter housing that's 3.5" since it's going to be tough to snake a 3.5" pipe all the way through. The custom CNC maf adapter housing and billet 5" tapered filter unit would be a one piece unit and the price would be around $250.00 for the setup. We would be looking at around 3-weeks for production.
