The current one is in a 3" pipe. They just weld a flange on the pipe and the MAF is inserted a couple inches before the conical filter.

Most aftermarket pipes keep that 3" diameter to avoid the hassle of MAF rescaling. I'm not sure how big of a pita such rescaling is for Shane but he didn't seem concerned.
