In my Tranny breaking days I tried several different kinds of Tranny fluid.


GM syncromesh = is complete SHIT - put it in 4 tranny's all of which went out in less then 30 days. Yes wheel hope started a chain reaction during race days but only 1 ever broke at the track, usually it was 1 week after that the tranny would go during a normal shift.

Valvoline/Mobil - MT90 currently what's in my tranny - seems to be working really well considering when My is running I've been really hard on it. Playing with the NLTS, and the Stutterbox. and it's taken everything I've through at it so far.


There were several others but I don't know the names only colors of the bottles:

Purple bottle - worked really well but tranny deteriorated quickly (say 4-5 months of driving)
