Personally, i'd rock the trunk..I like an empty engine bay, makes working on it easier. No risk of accidentally dropping a wrench on a terminal or metal ic pipe and shorting something out. Plus, that step when you "disconnect the battery" before everything? Ya, flip the switch..done.
