I was looking for my phone in my DD when a red civic pulls pulls in to my apartment's parking lot, parks next to my car and then leaves a minute later. I usually wouldn't make anything of it, but the lot is damn near empty and if he were just turning around there was plenty of other places to do so. Plus why would he park next to my car which was parked away from the entrance? I've never seen this car before and just find his actions a little too suspicious to disregard.
Anyway, now I'm paranoid and since I don't have an alarm and only have liability I gotta play stake-out for the next night or two.
But moving on, I have moved the idea of an alarm up to the top of my priority list. I know damn near nothing about car alarms except for the fact you don't cheap out on them and you want a 2-way.
This one has been for sale for a while and I think I might as well pull the trigger on it. Does anyone have any first-hand experience with this model or Viper in general?

Lastly, does anyone know how to install one and would be willing to do so for a reasonable amount? Best Buy is asking an arm and a leg. Thanks everyone.
