this is not so much about pressuer as it is flow, preusser is the amount of force needed to pass thu a clearance, flow deals with the amount

If the head has been milled, at this trough os now smaller, which should increase pressuer, but reduce flow

when this happens, lifter tick happens, and now also the turbo may be not getting enough oil ( for the guys that are set up 1g style from the side of the head.)

so when this mod is done it will restore the oil flow, and reduce oil pressure by a few psi

to help simplfy... at say 50psi, you can flow (GPH or LPH) more thu a garden hose , than you can a drinking straw at the same pressuer.
