I'm starting to put together a list of the things I want to do for this winter. And one of them is the body work.

My car has major rust inside and out - must have been a flood car or something.

it's getting to the point that it worries me especially since I plan on making more HP which means going faster. I just don't know if I can trust the car to not fall apart or something So for safety sake This coming winter I was going to have a body shop fix the rust/Paint the car.

But figure Painting alone will be like $1500, and body work/fixing rust would probably bring it out to like $3500 or so. Plus I'd have to take everything from the interior to the engine out of the car so that they could get it all.


With that said I just came across this car:

Do you think this would be a better route to go? (I hate red, but what can you do?)

or should I just get my current car fixed?
