I use a small portable compressor when I use a boost leak tester. I empty it, then turn it on until it's around 40psi, then just switch it off. After that, plug in the boost leak tester, similar to marks, and watch the gauge on the tank. If it starts falling, have a leak somewhere, stays flat, I'm golden. Plus there's no noise, so I can hear the leaks too.
