I don't think that will work. The BIOS doesn't support external boot (I was going to try USB), and I don't think mine has the connector for that one. Thanks for the offer though.

I bit the bullet an bought a new CD ROM drive for $14 shipped. Hope it gets here by Friday. If anyone else has a drive that will work let me know, if my "new" one doesn't show up I'll definitely want to borrow one and get my laptop running over the weekend. I want to setup and verify everything in the AEM before tunning time. Just want to make sure things go as smooth as possible.
