You in Lino? There's a shop in Andover, not too far, called Northern Cylinder Head. They took my trashed head, removed my good springs/retainers out of it and put them into my good head, decked the head, cleaned the head (didn't clean the valves tho, bastards), swapped my SS exh mani studs over to the good head. Ended up being right around like $150 if I remember right. Not the "best" headwork I've ever seen, but not bad at all for the price.
If there is nothing currently wrong with the 7-bolt, and all you need is a head, and you want it back and running asap, just slap a used refurbished head on it and be done.
I've also had the Crystal Red Rooster do headwork for me. They're work was EXCELLENT in my opinion, but the price tag was also a bit higher.
