All that I did was check and see if there was any play in the rockers.. and the head oil flow passages seemed to be clear. I did not notice any flat spots in the rockers...

Like I said this was not there last year when I parked it so something went bad along the lines of installing new cams, timing belt, and arp's

Kyle from map said that when you put mor aggressive cams in that if the lifters are worn in to a certain point and then you put in say, bc 272's then the lifters have to lift more and the spring is not used to that...

Besides, I had lifter tick not this winter because it was parked but the winter before hand the lifters would tick pretty good upon start up so I'm thinking that this was enough to push the lifters over the edge
