Here are the tips I would give that driver if they want to go faster.
#1. On the throttle or on the brakes, even if it's just a little throttle to maintain speed. Clutch in coasting around corners is SLOW, and a good way to upset the balance if you don't get the clutch engagement right.
#2. I don't see much to suggest the limits of adhesion are being approached. Drive faster. (Do this to your comfort level, but from what I see, the tires have more grip available)
#3. The closest the camera gets to a cone is about 12", the rest of the time it's 16"+ away. I don't know if you were leaving extra room since the camera was there, or if that's your norm. Mount the camera higher and get closer to the cones. 1 - 4 inches away should be your target. Cones will leave scuff marks, so do something to protect your car if you are concerned.
#4. Seems like he might be going down to 1st gear multiple times in the run. Down shifting, while controlling a car on the limit is difficult. Most new drivers will be able to go faster by sacrificing engine performance (being in the wrong gear) and concentration on cornering work.
