At the last company i worked for we had 3 - 3d printers.
We had 2 Zcorp 310s
and one Zcorp Spectrum z510s. (our main one)
Basically we mainly used it for prototypes. We had them sitting for over 5 years without working and i spearheaded the project to get the Z510 working again. Ended up having to clear out all of the lines, add new printer heads, and new nozzles. Our Z510 would print color. You can basically take any object from autocad and such and load it in there.

This is significantly different from the common usage of the word "theory", which implies that something is a conjecture, hypothesis, or guess.
