I masked off most of the Valve cover with paper and sprayed down the red first in the areas where the lettering is. Then Cured it. Then took it out, let it cool off, and sprayed the entire cover with gunmetal. Then I slightly wet a sponge and used that to brush/absorb the gunmetal powder off the top of the letters. Then Cured. Took it out, let it cool, and covered the entire cover with a clear coat powder. Cured again. All done
The gunmetal was a little bit light in some areas, so you can see a slight hue of red in some areas that the red was. I think it kind of looks neat personally!
