Awesome. It sucks that some companies will choose to cut back with this type of stuff per economic cuts, we can feel good about those who keep it going.
My work works with
http://www.crisisnursery.org/index.htm a lot. Something as simple as a $5 for Jeans Day raised a bit over $500 in 3 days and that was matched by the company and then sent off. So some people who would normally not donate, got a little work relaxation and the company got more donations. Went over really well with everyone. They do all sort of this during the year. Lots of walk-a-thons and such, which would also be a good group event.
