Nissan was ghey and decided they would make it so if you use the launch control feature, you void the warranty. "It turns out that disabling the car's VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) too often, in order to use the Launch Control function, meant Nissan wasn't covering the repairs." Apparently buyers have to sign something upon purchasing the car that says if something breaks as a result of disabling VDC, warranty won't cover it. If you ask me, it looks like they knew the tranny put in that car was shatty as a result of trying to finish the car in a rush, and possibly running out of money. It's sad.. EVO tranny's can take more abuse and the car costs half the price. They should have just polished up the R34 and brought it to US shores.
