They are the same. The pedal assembly I have shown is actually from a 92 awd. There is a long metal shaft that ends with a machined rectangular end that the master clyinder arm slides onto, and over time and usage it becomes worn out causing slop in the clutch pedal before the arm actually depresses the master clyinder. To eliminate that slop from the pedal assembly there is a nut (size of a 14 socket). The nut on the end gets welded to the shaft. There is also a plastic bushing sitting very close by and you have to be careful while welding not to melt it or else you will need to rebuild the entire assembly. I had to do this on my car and after welding the assembly my clutch pedal feels 5x better.
