The friction heat generated with something that large tearing into the atmosphere could probably heat the air/atmosphere enough to ignite most things and spreading fire beyond just the immediate fire and magma of the direct crash site. Most forest fires can jump and spread just from the heat alone and not just direct embers or flames. And then there is the raining fire rocks spreading and crashing down as shown. It seems reasonable given the scale of the model shown.
