I agree, the physics for Half Life 2 are mind blowing. When I first played the game in single player I spent nearly an hour playing around with the see-saw, swing and merry go round with the doll, bucket and cinder block in that area. If the engine had fluid dynamics and destructible terrain then it would be the game to end all games.
