Re: LSE John's old Talon

I would have ran a few more times but I was running out of C-16, walbros were getting loud and I did not have a wide band or fuel pressure gauge, o well. I think I made 10-12 passes that day and was getting quicker, and moving up in the quick 16 or what ever and could have won money. The night before I took my dad out in the car and did a log from launch threw 4th gear and it took like ~10.8 seconds or something so I was close the next day in the heat. The setup if you do not know:
Eagle/weisco
stock head
HKS 272/272
ARP head studs
stock head gasket
stock intake manifold/TB
crappy top to bottom FMIC from that place that made the Mutt turbo's
2.5" MS IC pipes. short route
Greddy Type S BOV
Tial 38mm waste gate w/ 18 psi spring
Turbonetics cast manifold
T3/T4 60trim to4e cover, stage 3 .82A/R t3 4 bolt housing
3" exhaust cut out, stock cat back
4bolt rear end
stock suspension
ACT 2600 with a ACT flywheel and street disk
Twin Walbro's -6 feed stock return
880 cc injectors
AFPR
AEM EMS with MAP/AIT sensors
6 point roll bar and plastic race seats/harness
stock 22spline GVR4 tranny with a welded CD and double pined 3/4 fork
stock suspension
stock wheels and 3 different brands of balding tires
no AC/power stearing and most of the interior removed.

At a shop out in BFE with a MAFT/AFC setup on c-16 it made 526fwhp and 464 lb/ft at ~33psi on a dyno jet. Then with the AEM at Elite running 35psi(the one time it would after cooling everything down) it made 530fwhp and almost 500lb/ft. But hot or at the track it would only make about ~32psi and make ~480fwhp. I figured that setup on a DD would make ~440awhp at 35psi.

To this date that is my fastest time, and it will stay that way for a while yet it looks like.
