Re: Dual fuel pumps in a 2g AWD

My gauge started working after I filled the tank for the first time. What would cause this, the type of 2g tank style? I've always been confused on how those work, does it have to suck gas from one side to the other? Why did it not work after a fuel pump install?

Time 1: 2-3 gallons of fuel left, fuel pump install
Time 2: 1-2 gallons of fuel left, drive home with gauge not working
Time 3: full tank, gauge works fine

I've read that you need almost 6 gallons for everything to work right with the siphon and everything, but why does it work when I'm below 6 gallons and driving?

I also figured out a way I can make the dual pumps fit, since the T fitting is the same size as the output on the walbro pumps, I can just seal one end of the T fitting up there instead of a pump, shouldn't be too difficult. Obviously it'll fit a bit better than my sloppy picture.
