I run my stock (except for r-compounds and race brake pads) Evo around BIR in 1:55 or thereabouts. Sure with mods I could shave off a few seconds, but I'm happy with the set up for now, and so is the dealer when I go in for warranty work (new 5th gear synchro, both front struts, alignment, etc.). Even got a new clutch free of charge at 35K miles because they apparently spilled gear oil on the disc when doing the tranny work. And they always give me a free loaner car while the Evo is in the shop. The warranty will run out in 12K miles. Then let the mods begin!
