OK, first off i started this thread before doing any research, thats my fault. I thought this was a message board where local DSMer's could go for advise and to check out the "preferred local shops". I couldn't have been more wrong, this message board is no more than an extension of 3 businesses. If i would have realized this, i would have never started this thread or even registered.
Now since you have decieded to unlock this thread i would like to address some questions and accusations that i previously could not.
1. "If your just in it for the advertising then find the door"........ I'm not in it just for advertising, i was simply asking where on this site can i post about my services, all other posts would have been geared towards helping people.
2. "you would have a vast amount of vaulable knowledge to pass on the members around here without screaming: "come to my shop!!"........ Thats exactly right, i never planned on going about it this way, see #1 above
3. "I welcome a 4th shop, if you can sell me on the reason we need it. So please respond to my e-mail with that in mind."...... I did that, (before you posted that comment) then you replied "thats what i'm talking about". Little did i know at the same time you were bashing me and closing this thread. Heres a copy of that email, i guess this is not enough to be considered an asset..........."I've been involved with Mitsubishis for 12 years, been in business for 3. I ran Hypertech's dyno for 2 years developing chips and power programmers. I have never touched anything that didn't have a diamond star logo (other than the stuff at Hypertech)
If you go to
www.3si.org and look for my username "mitsubishispecialties", you will see that i have given a lot back to that board and i see no reason why i couldn't do the same here. I'm also listed on mn3s "local angle" page. Heres a quote from that page........"Jack will work on all Mitsubishi's and he'll do about any kind of mod or repair work. The ONLY time i was anything other than professional was after you played god and locked this thread.

This last one is the only place i could see someone taking that as a rant, but on the contrary, i was simply stating one way i would have been willing to help you guys (meaning QPR) out if you simply let me let others know there are more than 3 shops at they're disposal.
Like i said earlier, this could all have been avoided if i did the research ahead of time to realize this website is no more than an extension of 3 businesses.
If it wasn't, you would welcome more competition (especially with the experience i have) to get better prices for the members.
I do have to hand it you guys, creating a message board to increase business while making it look like your helping the community. Thats pure genious..............
