Re: Turning my quest into a dsm.
Well, it leaks, and in this really cold weather it won't even start, though I didn't change anything since when it started before.
Once I get something to drain the coolant just a little to fix the leak, I can let it get warmed up and set the timing so it's right on.
Cleaned up the interior a bit, and I soldered the knock sensor wires to a new plug so that is done. I need to get a DSM O2 sensor, get a hacksaw to cut the bumper mounts cause the warehouse I'm in won't let me throw sparks all over.
once the bumper mounts (frame rails) are cut then I can figure out how to mount the intercooler, it should slide in, but it will probably have problems. At least its good for like 1000 hp or whatever.
Then I get to connect my tach, make boost tubes and finish cleaning it up and tidying things up. It should be ready to get tuned by spring. Pretty exciting.
Anyone know where to get that shiny heat resistant wrap?
