Get under the car and watch the slave cylinder while someone presses on the clutch. You can see the slave push the clutch fork from the outside. If that is working then your clutch is toast probably. Does the clutch pedal feel mushy or anything?

probably just the slave... with the car off I can put it in gear & with the clutch pressed in I can start the car...it starts rolling as I start it.. I let it.. and then when I let the clutch out it engages quickly. Just not enough pressure to lift the heavy plate thats in it, or thats what I'm hoping to be able to fix with replacing the slave.
