Yep, both of my PTE turbo's have been great. I put a lot of miles on my 50 trim and I knew of 3 other people it went to after I had it, CVD was the first one. My SCM61 has been pushed quite hard and is still like new. No shaft play or anything. I think the oil has a lot to do with it and everything getting warmed up before you beat on it, cool down is also nice. I wouldn't be worried about your SCM61 at all, I do have the oil feed line coming from the filter housing, but most people do.
