I would probably try it and see what happens. If it doesn't work then you can upgrade to a Greddy, Tial or HKS. If you like the whistle, buy the HKS. I bought one a long time ago when there weren't many choices and kind of like the whistle. It really makes people jump

When I go to a bigger turbo I will put a Tial on also.
