Re: Flutter Question

I did some reading, it can happen at partial throttle as well, but mostly happens from WOT.

I also may have found my leak... someone didn't use Teflon tape on the vacuum fitting on the car. So tonight when i was blowing through the old one when the new one came in the mail to see what, or where, it was leaking.

I find out that side of the bov that sees air is leaking, so, i start moving my hand around to find the source of the air. So, i push my hand down on the valve, was very loose. Tightened the spring, nothing was leaking. So, i blow though the vacuum line to see if the seal is leaking. Get a nice spray of metal shavings on my lips. The fitting somehow was loose, very loose. How i missed this, is WAY beyond me. So at this point i had the connection piece off, and had left the old gasket on. I tighten it, and nothing is leaking, the old Greedy is still good. So, i put the fitting piece on to test it out... leaks from the gasket. Np, i'll just use the new one that came in the kit. Got cracked during shipping, and is leaking like a siv. So, now i've got 2 working bov's, and not a single gasket in sight that wants to seal. I'll order one tomorrow probably, but i'm trying my hand at some RVT sealant as we speak.
