Go to court, talk w/ the prosecutor and see what you have to do to get it taken off, do what he says. Done, and done. Worst case scenario, you tell them that you'll throw an OEM exhaust on it, prove that it's on there, then yank it back off and make sure you don't get pulled over by the same cop again
