I watched the show that showed how they built it. The engineers were POUNDING on one of the pistons with the handle of a hammer to get it in. Not exactly the most mechanically inclined people in the world for a 1off car it seemed. Normally you just apply more pressure until the piston slides in, but no, they pound the shit out of it to get it in.
